Penguin Science Olympiad (PenguinSO) was founded by a group of passionate and experienced Science Olympiad competitors and alumni to provide a new invitational that could enhance the Science Olympiad community with the hard work put into it.

During the 2024-2025 season, PenguinSO aims to offer a mid-season invitational to allow students to compete and enjoy in as well as gain valuable experience and knowledge.

Here at PenguinSO, our mission is to provide the highest quality to our invitational.

• Challenging and Quality Tests: Our Event Supervisors are among the nation’s most experienced competitors and alumni. They are committed to writing tests that are both challenging and enjoyable. These tests are meticulously reviewed by our organizers to ensure high quality and adherence to event rules.

• Fun Awards: We aim to make special and awards that are completely unique to our invitational, celebrating student's hard work and achievements in their respective events. Offering a live,  same-day awards system for our preliminary competition and fun and exciting finals awards. We are also providing custom aluminum, laser engraved metal medals (Top 1 for Preliminary and Top 6 for finals).

• Diversified Events: This allows students to explore diverse fields of science and gain a deeper understanding of various scientific disciplines.

Profits generated from PenguinSO will be allocated towards essential tournament logistics, including providing awards for participating teams and maintaining a website domain. Additionally, we are committed to supporting charitable initiatives, ensuring that our impact extends beyond the competition itself.
